The Serendib Blue Lotus Child Care International Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of children. Registered under section 34 of the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007, our foundation is built on rigorous governance and transparency, driven by a shared vision among our six esteemed board members to create a better future for the children in our community. Born out of a collective desire to address the pressing needs of children in rural areas(Primary section), our foundation emerged after observing and visiting rural schools and areas, recognizing the multifaceted challenges children face—from food insecurity and inadequate clothing to limited access to education and healthcare. Our comprehensive approach to childcare not only addresses the immediate physical needs of children but also focuses on their long-term development and well-being, covering essential aspects such as nutrition, hygiene, education, and mental health. Our team, composed of passionate professionals and volunteers including social workers, educators, healthcare providers, and community volunteers, works collaboratively to deliver our programs effectively, united by a common goal: to create a nurturing and empowering environment for every child we serve.
